Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere

Nature, Sport and History

One of the final corners of the Tuscan Coast which for its morphology and climatic characteristics, has conserved the wild qualities of the Maremma, together with the comfort of the best coastal resorts.

Green lawns and Mediterranean scrub with oleander and bougainvillea surround the Residence, situated just a few metres from the beach.

Peace and quiet are the most important features of this area, far away from the crowds and the conventional habits of holidaymakers.

A prestigious 18-hole Golf Club, Stables, Tennis Courts and the Port of Punta Ala with its celebrated Yacht Club, are able to satisfy all desires. The Residence, open all year round, is the perfect place to stay on the occasion of numerous organised sport’s events.

Punta Ala lies in the centre of the Etruscan Coastline of Tuscany, opposite the island of Elba and near Massa Marittima, Grosseto, Siena and Pisa, towns which can be reached in less than an hour by car.

You will be pleasantly surprised if you are unfamiliar with the food and wine traditions of the Maremma as its cuisine excels with specialities both from the sea and the land, all perfectly accompanied by the prestigious white and red wines, produced in the area.

Punta Ala
a place of a thousand attractions

Apart from golf, horse-riding, sailing and tennis, there are many nature trails for trekking and mountain bike enthusiasts.

Following the steep forest roads, you can enjoy breath-taking views: to the south west, the Islands of Giglio and Montecristo; to the west the large Island of Elba, to the north the promontory of Piombino, the Gulf of Follonica. On clear days, to the west, you can see the mountains of Corsica which extend from Macinaggio to Bastia.

The most well-known beaches are Cala Violina, Cala Martina and Cala Civette, which outline the rocky coast towards the east in the direction of the Port of Scarlino.
